                                                                         Simplicity
This photo shows simplicity because of that exactly, it is simple. From everything that is happening in the moment, the photographer managed to capture this. In some way, it is calming. The way the man is frozen in time.

The Rule of Thirds
These photos convey the rule of thirds because the subject is in the side of the photos. They are both at the bottom left.

Lines
This is showing lines because of the American flag and the light shining in only that one spot. The light brings my attention towards the flag and the flag has lines that pull your attention towards the debris.

Balance
This photo shows balance because the people are walking the same way, and everything in the photo is the same color. All the people and the ground is covered in the debris.

Framing
This picture conveys framing because of the window in the photo. It's framing the tower that was hit by the planes. It is already down to the ground and destroyed.

Merger
This photo is a merger because it has the subject put into a background and it cuts off the other people. This needs to be avoided.

Symmetry and Patterns (repetition)
This photo shows symmetry because it has all different kinds of shapes. It has rectangles and squares creating the symmetry.

Viewpoint
This photo shows viewpoint because it is taken looking down on the subjects.
Create Depth
These photos create depth because they look like they can go on for miles.
Cropping
This photo conveys cropping because it crops the tree with hanging shoes so it can draw more attention and get rid of the unneeded backgrounds.
