Favorites from the year 2017

I chose this photo because its about people having a protest about white nationalists. These people had gotten hit by a car that was driving through the crowd. I think that this is terrible.










I chose this photo because these people were looking at the eclipse. This is very important because its a once in a lifetime event. This solar eclipse happens once every few years.


I chose this photo because I think it is important. This is because the concert was held in Manchester to raise money for the shooting that happened there at the last concert.









What was the best song of 2017?

In my opinion, I think that the best song was, 'Broken Halos' by Chris Stapleton. This is because I love country music and Chris Stapleton is my favorite country artist. The song is very different from many other country songs. It's more slow paced. Although, it is very good and original compared to other country songs that are trying to merge into pop music. 


What was the best movie of 2017?

I think that the best movie of 2017 was, 'Baby Driver'.  The movie is about a guy named, "Baby" that is a designated driver for criminals. He had a bad childhood and rarely talks because of it. I thought this movie was amazing because it had a great storyline and acting. 


What was the most important news story of the year? 

I think that the most important news story of the year was the Las Vegas country music festival shooting. This is because it is terrible. People were at the festival having fun and letting go as anyone would do at a music festival. When a shooter from the hotel across the street over looking the festival fired. Killing 56 people and leaving 500 injured. 


Who was the most important person of 2017 in your opinion?

I think that the most important person of 2017 was Colin Kaepernick. This is because he kneeled during the national anthem to protest against racism and police brutality. Because of that, he was kicked off of the team and no NFL teams will take him.


What was the biggest sports event of 2017?

I think that the biggest sports event of 2017 was the super bowl. This is because it seemed like the Falcons seemed like they had the win in their pockets. But, the Patriots had pulled through once again and won the bowl.


1.) One thing that happened on my holiday that I will remember is doing the polar bear plunge in the Barton Springs pool.

make everyday a gooday
stay positive

3.) I'm looking forward to new beginnings in 2018.
