LONG RESPONSE

1.) Before reading anything about this, I have heard about some NFL players were not standing up for the anthem because they did not like the meaning of it.

2.) In my opinion, I don't think they should be required to stand for the anthem. I think it can be a bit disrespectful but it's that persons decision. If they want to stand for it then thats great for them, but if they don't it is understandable. They shouldn't be forced to stand for something that they don't believe in.

3.) Well, if they aren't going to stand for it as it is then they shouldn't be required to. So, in a way it is acceptable. It already is acceptable for them to not stand a all so why go out there if they won't participate.

4.) No, I don't think he made the right decision. I think that it is pathetic that trump goes about everything online and doesn't handle it behind closed doors.

5.)  I feel as if race takes place in almost every topic. Especially in this one. Most of the players that are not participating are African Americans.

6.)  Colin Kaepernick is a football quarterback who participated in sitting while the anthem played. In my opinion, I think its great that influential people are standing for what they believe in.
