The Big day
This commercial started off with a man driving in his car, rushing to get somewhere. It cut scene to a woman in a wedding gown getting ready. The man whom was driving the car was wearing a tuxedo so, he must've been the groom. He was checking his watching speeding to get there as it seemed to be that the brides dad was watching time doing the same. Right when the groom got there, he walked into the church finding another man who took his place right next to the bride at the alter.

Can you fill me in to what happened today?
"Well, there is this man, Toby, he is my boyfriend who I had hoped to marry today. But, my dad absolutely hates this because of our religion. Since we have the orthodox jewish tradition of arranged marriage i would need to marry Charles, the man my father had chosen. So, we had agreed that i could only marry him if he had made it on time to the wedding. Seems easy enough, but it wasn't. He had to go see his mother in Kentucky because she was very sic and couldn't attend the wedding. he had bought a plane ticket to fly to Tennessee on the wedding day but, the flight was canceled due to bad weather. So, he settled on driving. he had already been running late and he knew what was agreed upon. As I was almost ready to go to the alter, I checked through the window to see if he was there. No sign of him. My father had told me it was time. So, I stood at the alter next to the planned groom my father had arranged. We were standing at the alter when toby rushed in. but, it seemed to be too late."
How did you feel when Toby wasn't about to show up?
I was completely disappointed.
How did you feel when he ran in?
I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to come. I was also happy, of course but, I wish he had gotten there a few minutes earlier. Who knows, my father might allow it because he got there last minute.

What were your thoughts when you were on your way?
Oh I was completely stressed out. I knew I had to get here before the church bells at the latest to have my chance to marry Ashley.
What are your thoughts about Ashleys dad making her marry another man?
I hate it so much. I think that it is unfair. Ashley is an adult so she should choose who she marries. I get that it is a part of her culture but she wants to go against that.
Arranged husband- Charles
How do you feel about being the arranged husband?
Well, I feel normal. I've been used to arranged marriages and I knew that my marriage would have been arranged to considering our culture. Although, hearing that she was wanting to marry another man made me upset. Only because I feel bad for taking his place.
how did you feel when you saw Toby run in?
In a way I felt relieved because, I knew Toby was right for her. But, I also felt a bit of sadness. It's not like Ashley and I were strangers. We had known each other since we were kids. I do have a love for her. Maybe just not the right one.

I thought I was going to marry two people without any problems.

I think that it's crazy. After all of my years of being a rabbi this has never happened.

I was very disappointed. She had known that she would have an arranged marriage her whole life. This is what we do. but, Ashley has never been a fan of the jewish culture. I kind of saw it coming when I had met him.

At first I was happy. Then I saw Ashley. I saw the disappointment on her face. When he was late we had to get the wedding running.

I was surprised because i didn't think he was going to make it.

The Big Day
It was June 1, 2017 in San Diego, California. Ashley Moconahay and Toby Lucks were planning on getting married. Only to be rearranged by Moconahays father, Lewis.
"I had planned on marrying lucks but, he wasn't the right person for my heritage according to my father." Ashley said, "My father had made the decision of giving me an ultimatum."
The ultimatum had been for lucks to make it to then wedding on time according to Lewis Lucks.
"I had known Toby was going to be late because of his mother," Lewis said.
Ashley had been very stressed out about Lucks not getting there. Toby's drive had been so long. Crossing through many different places he made it there close before his time was up.
"I had crossed through the desert, forest, beach, mountains, and finally I had made it to the church. I don't think I had ever been in such a rush," Lucks said.
Lewis had a different opinion though. Although he did not like the idea of going against his culture he knew that Ashley truly does want to marry Toby.
"I was very disappointed. She had known that she would have an arranged marriage her whole life. This is what we do. but, Ashley has never been a fan of the jewish culture. Once Toby had finally made it into the wedding, everyone was in complete shock. Especially Charles Green, the arranged groom.
"In a way I felt relieved because, I knew Toby was right for her. But, I also felt a bit of sadness. It's not like Ashley and I were strangers. We had known each other since we were kids. I do have a love for her. Maybe just not the right one," Green said.
Since Toby had mad it right before the Rabbi had married them, there was still a fighting chance for him to be the one.
"I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to come. I was also happy, of course but, I wish he had gotten there a few minutes earlier. Who knows, my father might allow it because he got there last minute," bride Ashley said
