Roger Clementine
What made you think to drive your license?
Well, I knew how to drive because I've learned when I was younger. I guess I just wanted to hop onto responsibilities early.
Do you regret what happened today?
Of course I do. I wasn't meaning to go out and get into a car crash. I just wanted a taste of freedom.
If you could go back to change what happened today, what would it be?
It would be to not have taken my uncles car in the first place.
How do you think this crash happened?
Well, as I was driving down I was going pretty fast. I was also in the wrong lane. As I was driving I got to the intersection and I didn't think to stop or even slow down. My head hadn't turned to look. My eyes were only fixated on the road ahead of me. Before I knew it, I had crashed.
Melba Jingleheimer-Smith
Where were you all headed before the crash?
We were going to HEB to go grocery shopping.
How were you feeling during the crash?
I was very scared. It's not like we were ready for that to happen.
How are you feeling right now?
I feel fine. A little light headed but, I'm fine.
John Jacob Jingleheimer-Smith
How are you feeling right now?
Not so good. Im wear right now because the hit was so hard.
Is there anything you wish you would have done differently today?
I wish we could've left at a different time. Then maybe none of this would've happened.
How do you feel about Roger?
I think that he made a very bad decision by doing what he did. but, he's still a kid, everyone makes mistakes. Even if they are stealing a car and crashing it.

The car Clementine had been driving was his uncle's 1948 Studebaker. He had taken it without his uncle knowing.
"I regret it so much, If I hadn't taken his car in the first place this wouldn't have happened." Clementine stated.
The people in the car he hit were 91 year old, John Jacob Jingleheimer-Smith and his 61 year old wife, Melba.
"I was very scared, it's not like we were ready for that to happen," Melba said.
The crash had caused the Yugo to be completly destroyed leaving the Studebaker with a crumpled fender.
Because the hit was so bad for the Yugo, it left john Jacob hospitalized with a head injury.
Luckily, we were able to go in for a short interview.
